Marlin 39a firing pin
I have a 39A that needs a new firing pin. H serial number prefix (1951). E-gunparts shows 39A new model and 39A old model with different firing pin numbers.Here is a pic of the bolt firing pin retaining stud on my 2009 model 39a. Marlin added the retaining stud in 1988. As the picture indicates, the outer edge of the stud is just enough to keep the firing pin from being removed.
